Projects - Modular Wall Systems

modular

DDS has worked closely with Fry Reglet Corporation to provide printed panels for their "Graph" wall system. Graph is a modular wall system that incorporates 1/2" thick panels into a grid. This is how Fry Reglet describes their system

"There are only three components to Graph. First, an aluminum framework that is engineered to your design. The second, surface panels of your choosing. Third, clips that attach the panels to the framework.

This innovative architectural wall finish system allows for limitless configurations, countless surface materials and minimal field labor."

DDS has supplied imaged panels for some of the most intriguing projects done to date with the Graph wall system. Select the projects for a complete description of the application:

Project: The Legends Center
Location: The University of Washington, Seattle, WA
Architect: HOK Sport, Kansas City, MO

The Legends at the University of Washington: The Legends Center was designed by Kansas City, MO - based HOK Sport. HOK Sport is part of an internationally recognized architectural firm and is the premier designer of major sports facilities throughout the world. The Legends Center houses the artifacts, videos, and displays that pay tribute to the past and future successes of the players, coaches and teams that are a part of Washington football. Read all about this project at the "gohuskies" website.

The feature walls in the entrance to the Legends Center are decorated with MuruStone panels. They form the most dynamic feature in the entrance. The wall is a tiled mural montage of Washington football. The images are black and white, color, graphic, and photographic. All of the panels are single 24"x 24" panels. The images range from single panels to 14 panels tiled to form a single image. The transitions are seamless. The art ranges from high resolution to snap shots of historic events.

There are two Graph walls. One is the two story, dynamic wall as you enter the building that incorporates a large, flat panel screen with streaming video. This wall is almost 20 feet high and 18 feet wide on the first floor.

The second wall is approximately 10 foot high and almost 24 feet wide. The wall system accommodates openings and allows panels to be replaced at any time without the need to remove adjacent panels. Find the details for Graph here.

The Legends Center incorporates an innovative Graph wall system with dynamic MuruStone wall panels. The MuruStone panels can contain any image. The size of the wall to be covered can range from 24"x 24" to entire multi-story wallscapes.
