Projects - Tiled Murals

We print tiled murals using specialty coated ceramic tiles, glass tile and tumbled marble. The murals range in size from backsplashes and tub surrounds to 10' by 30' and bigger tiled murals. Our customers include designers working on residential, commercial and institutional projects. We are pleased to show a few of our most beautiful and unusual murals:

University of Rhode Island: These are two murals that were made from old glass plate black and white snapshots taken over 100 years prior when the original building at the university was constructed. The other mural is a snapshot of the original President's house at URI. Both of the pictures were drum scanned at very high resolution in order to get a digital image that could be enlarged to create the two murals 6 feet high by 8 feet wide. We added a sepia tone to the pictures to make the mural look old.

The murals were placed on walls on each side of the lobby entrance to the newest building on the campus.

This is a picture of the original home of the University President. It no longer exists on campus. It was the first building on campus.

This is a classic picture of the job superintendent and two of the workers posing with the cornerstone of the building that was originally built on the site of the new building.
